External Surroundings

We think of Villa Allegra as the kind of place, a friend would come over to escape from the busy everyday life and open the door to a tranquil, paradise-like environment.. To us, hospitality is about creating a personal experience, in connection with the beauty of nature. The external surrounding of the Villa Allegra is what makes it so special.

When you approach the Villa for the first time, an iron gate that rests on two stone pillars, made from old stones found in traditional Cretan houses, called Kantonades, opens its embrace to welcome you into a serene vast green space, that creates a feeling of relaxation.  On the west side of the Villa, one can see the bamboo trees that have grown from the banks of the Tyflos river, which is a nature's reserve, as rare birds fly through the seasons.

We are sure that both the aesthetic charms and serenity of the natural environment are going to make you fall in love with it as mush as we are!
